We welcome applications from people with transferable skills and experience gained in education, childcare, healthcare, social care, the NHS, youth work, community support, or voluntary roles working with children and young people. We also welcome applications from college leavers who hold a Level 2/3 qualification in Education, Early Years, Childcare, Health and Social Care, or related subjects.

This is a varied and rewarding learning support assistant position working within key stage 2. 

You will:

• Provide one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs.
• Deliver targeted interventions and small group support.
• Support teaching and learning within our specialist resource hub.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN professionals and support staff.
• Help pupils develop communication, social and emotional skills.

Hours: 16 hours and 15 minutes per week,  Monday-Friday term time only

Start date: 2 November 2026

Contract: fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027 (with potential extension subject to external funding)

Actual Salary: £10,150.05 - £11,165.56 (depending on qualifications)
